Painting Roundup (Jan 2022)
published
Towards the end of last year I painted up a couple of scenery pieces from Loot Studios, and then failed to take pictures of them before I packed up my lightbox to make room for Christmas. So, a little late, here they are.
I'm planning to run some D&D 4th edition at the end of the month and have an desert theme in mind, so they are going to get used pretty soon.
On to January and New Year, New Army. I've been making the start on some Soulblight Gravelords.
Clearly, the first thing to do is to ignore the big box of plastic I got from Games Workshop just before Christmas in favour of raiding the bits box to make some markers for the graves that the army uses as deployment points in Age of Sigmar.
Then it was on to the twenty Death Rattle Skeletons. I now have a solid core unit for the game.
How does this stack up against the Pledge and Hobby Bingo? Somehow I've managed to buy 18 models this year (temptation is hard to resist) but I have painted 24 so I'm up on points there. Hobby Bingo has the first two cells ticked off, so I'm at 20 points there. It's going to take a while to get an entire row done!
Cell | Goal | Miniature Painted |
---|---|---|
A3 | Unit of 10+ models | 20 Deathrattle Skeletons |
A4 | Kitbashed model | 4 Grave Markers |
